Workshop Description:
Ignite the flame – Inspire ourselves and others:
How do we relight the candle that we are always burning at both ends when we think about our pride and passion for our profession?
We will discuss how to avoid burn out and stay positive in a career that can be both physical and mentally demanding, both on and off the floor.
Discussions on what a professional is and look at how we present ourselves, communicate with others and how it reflects on our practice.
Through group discussions and activities, we will realize that waking up in the morning is a blessing and not a chore when it comes to what we do every day of our lives. The career of Early Childhood Education is passionate, rejuvenating, rewarding, and incredible. How do we keep this mentality at the forefront of our daily attitude, and how this will help in our interactions with children and families?
We will explore tools and ideas on how to keep the smile, the energy and the oomph in our daily lives.
