Hidden Vegetables - How to sneak vegetables into a variety of dishes.
Batch Prepping - Making your day easier by planning ahead. By plannning ahead and having meals to grab from the freezer, supper will be ready in no time!
Healthy Baking - Find out what substitutions can make your baking healthier.
Facilitator Bio:
Chef Jen is a born and raised islander. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of Canada in 2012, and has worked in many well known restaurants around PEI (Stanhope, Dalvay, Glasgow Glen Farm) In 2016 she started her own business as a personal chef, launching her online virtual chef services in 2018. Since beginning her business she has helped over 1,000 families become more confident and healthier in the kitchen by showing them how to meal prep 1 hour a week.
Please note: Participants will be given the link to the video and are required to participate in two ways - with a microphone/built in speaker (such as the one built into your phone) and through chat. In addition to this, the facilitator will be keeping a log tracking which members contribute and which do not. She will then give this list to ECDA upon completion and those that do not contribute will not receive PD hours.
