This event has been approved by the Early Learning and Child Care Board for 1.50 professional development training hours.

Payment Policy:

The ECDA's payment policy for all Professional Development is that fees must be paid prior to attending*. The final date to make your payment is one week prior to the start date of the event, unless otherwise communicated (i.e. council or board run centres for cheque approval/signature, would be the exceptions). If payment is not received, before the event payment deadline, you will not be permitted to attend.

In the past, exceptions have been made by the ECDA, but with our growing membership, it has become increasingly difficult to manage. We thank you for your understanding and your commitment to your ongoing Professional Development. The ECDA.

*If you are mailing a cheque, please be aware you should allow a few days ahead of the deadline for it to be received by the ECDA office.

La musicothérapie, un rituel ludique.

L’encadrement musical, qu’il soit créé dans une chanson, un rhythm, ou des harmonies instrumentales, tient de l’espace dans des moments précieux et peut offrir des expériences de développement profondes et joyeuses. Au cours de cet atelier, nous explorerons comment la musique, lorsqu’elle est appliqué comme un rituel ludique, est essentielle pour soutenir le développement et le bien-être de nos enfants, ainsi que le nôtre.  Nous examinerons comment la musique nous aide à intégrer nos expériences quotidiennes et nos traumatismes vécus. De plus, nous explorerons les bienfaits de tenir l’espace musical comme base pour co-créer de la musique à travers une relation basée sur la confiance et le respect mutuel.

 

 

 

Biographie de facilitateur:

Bonjour, je m'appelle Dominique Piqugard. Je suis musicothérapeute certifiée (MTA*) et propriétaire de UB Music-que services thérapeutiques. Depuis plus de 25 ans, j'étudie la musique. J'ai étudié le jazz et le chant classique à Montréal avec des professeures de chant privées. J'ai poursuivie mes études de musique au Collège Vanier, suivi par un baccalauréat en beaux arts à l'Université York, où j'ai concentré mes études sur la musique vocales de diverses cultures. En 2014, j'ai obtenu mon certificat d'études supérieures en musicothérapie de l'Université Concordia à Montréal, Québec. En novembre 2015, j'ai reçu mes qualifications MTA* du Certified Board of Music Therapists (CBMT) et de l'Association canadienne de musicothérapeutes (l'ACM).

Né de mes propres luttes médicales lorsque j'étais enfant, la musique, mon amour du chant, du piano et de l'écriture de chansons m'a amené vers un univers extraordinaire. Depuis la musique occupe une place toute particulière dans ma vie. J’ai découvert qu’elle est une façon de se connecter avec nos émotions.  La mélodie, le rythme, la métaphore et l’harmonie sont des outils puissants de ressentir de ce que nous n’arrivons pas à exprimer en mots.

Je pratique, actuellement, comme une musicothérapeute au Sud-Est du Nouveau-Brunswick. Je suis un membre professionnel de l’Association canadienne de musicothérapeutes (l’ACM) et sa branche atlantique “Atlantic Association of Music Therapists” (AAMT). Je suis aussi membre de l’organisation NB COPES Child and Family Grief Centre, nouvellement fondé en 2020.

Mon parcours d’apprentissage est continuel. J’ai obtenue, en mai 2016, une certification en musicothérapie neurologique (NMT). Je participe aux conférences de l’ACM qui inclus divers ateliers. Plus récemment, soit en janvier 2021, j’ai complété une formation sur le soutien au deuil offert par « The Dougy Center  - The National Grief Center for Children & Families ».
