As Early Childhood Educators, you have the capacity to make a difference in the lives of the children you see in your centres every day! Through a variety of interactive activities, discussion, and introspective exercises, this fun-filled on-line workshop will examine your role and the critical components needed during these challenging COVID days. We will explore ways to ignite curiosity, impart practical skills, and heighten the emotional, social, and academic success of all the children in your care. Together we will look at the means to create a fun and loving place; a space where each child is made to feel secure, confident, curious, and excited to engage in a world of discovery and wonder.
During this fun two-hour session, educators will come together to explore and share ideas pertaining to:
•The Role of the Early Childhood Educator
•The Rudimentary Aspects of Ego Development
•Piaget’s Stages of Early Childhood Cognitive Development
•Creative Child-Centred Program-Planning Strategies
*Participants will need 2 sheets of blank white paper, scissors, assorted markers, and tape on hand for an activity during this session*
