Bookmates is a Manitoba based not-for-profit organization, established in 1984 with a mission to develop and deliver early years programs and training to build and support the foundations of literacy and learning. We are regularly invited to present at conferences and workshops to share our expertise. Our history of developing and delivering accessible, relevant early years literacy training and programs enables us to successfully address emerging needs and topics with our services.
Nancy Tovell is the Program Coordinator at Bookmates. She has a wide range of experience in facilitating workshops with a focus on sharing strategies, tools and resources to support those working with families and young children. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and has been at Bookmates since 2014.
Participants will be given the link to the video and are required to participate in one of two ways-- with a microphone/built in speaker or through chat. In addition there will be a log tracking which members contribute and which do not, and those that do not contribute will not receive PD hours. We ask that you leave your camera on for the session.
