Is your centre showing up in parents' search results on the ELCC Registry?
You can double check that your centre is showing up when parents search for care by performing your own search using the ELCC Registry's Child Care Search tool. If your centre is not listed on the map or in the list results, it is likely because the address in your centre profile is not formatted properly.
Typical formatting problems include a misplaced comma, incorrect street type abbreviation, addition of a landmark or community (ex: Brighton/second floor/in the old school/Aubin Arsenault Building), or incorrect city/town. To find out the correct address for your centre, type it in to the provincial database address generator and use that exact address to fill in the information on your Centre Profile tab. You can add any additional location information in your Additional Details field.
Example of proper address format: 25 UNIVERSITY AV, CHARLOTTETOWN (Do not place the postal code in the address bar, there is a separate space for it below. Do not include any indication of province. Note the 2 letter abbreviation for the street type, as well as the correct comma placement.)
