This fun and informative session will be filled with low-cost high impact strategies every attendee can implement immediately. Let’s do this together, shake things up, and get people focusing on a career with you in early learning and child care.
Session 3 – Facilitative Supervision: The Heart of Retention
The research shows time and again that people desire respectful workplaces where their contribution is valued. Facilitative supervision is an approach that emphasizes mentoring, joint problem solving and two-way communication. In this session, we’ll discuss leadership styles, how to help individuals to set goals, autonomy and decision making, and how to work alongside a workforce with varying needs and interests.
