This will be a fun and dynamic session that focuses on you and your wellness: emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. The session will begin with an overview of what happens in the body when one experiences stress or trauma and how this impacts your performance at work and fulfillment in personal life. This will include exploring wellness within an Indigenous lens and identifying strategies to support your unique lifestyle. We will spend time focusing on the signs and symptoms of both Burnout and Compassion Fatigue, how to identify these and what to do if you or a co-worker is showing signs of Burnout or Compassion Fatigue. The session will end with each participant completing a wellness plan.
